long hiatus

I haven't posted in forever, jeez whats wrong with me.  All these adoring fans and me with no fodder.  Well no biggie, hosting 2 rounds of separate families has kept me plenty busy (though surprisingly with less cooking.)

But the big news is that I'm driving down to DC for Stewart and Colbert's Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.  Its going to be a little crazy, also getting ready for Halloween.  My squid costume is almost done I just need to finish some mottling that I'm painting over it to tone down the pink.
